1. Make sure that the cadet meets ALL of the requirements listed on the "Membership Requirements" page.
  2. Attend four meetings with parent/guardian.
    1. This is to ensure that you have a good sense of what meetings are about. We don't want you to spend the money and time on CAP if you don't have a fairly good idea of what it is that we do.
    2. We also want your parent/guardian to know what it is that you'll be doing at meetings so that they are more comfortable and knowledgeable about meetings
  1. Complete your online application and make yearly membership payment online.
      1. Charter number is "TX214"
      2. There should be NO blanks on the application.
      3. A doctor's signature is required only if you answered "yes" to any of the medical questions
  1. Once the application is processed, make two copies of it:
    1. Is for your own records and should serve as a backup in case the original is lost in the mail
    2. Give to your son/daughter as proof that the application was completed. It will serve as a temporary I.D.

Membership will require Commanders approval. Once this approval is granted, Membership is immediate.
